Refunds & Guarantees
Effective date: July 2026
Everything on this page applies to every paid product on this site. There is no per-product fine print somewhere else, and nothing here is hidden behind a purchase.
It has two layers. A seven-day refund window on anything you pay for, no reason required. And on the Cycle, a guarantee tied to your actual measurement.
The seven-day window
Every paid product carries a seven-day refund window from the moment you buy. No reason required, no completion requirement, and nobody assessing whether you tried hard enough.
We do ask for a short note on what fell short, because that is how the products get better. It is an invitation, never a condition — the refund is processed either way.
The measured guarantee
This one is specific to the Cycle, and it is the reason the whole product is built around a number at each end.
Run a full Cycle and re-measure. If your bottleneck gear hasn’t moved, the next Cycle is free and we work that same gear until it does.
It is bounded at one additional Cycle. Not "until it moves, however long that takes" — one more pass, on the same gear, at no charge.
To qualify, we need both measurements on file: the Check-Up you took at the start and the one you took at the end. That is it. Not a completion percentage, not session attendance, not submitted work. If both readings exist, you qualify, and it is checked by looking at your account rather than by having a conversation about your effort.
The remedy is another Cycle rather than your money back, and that is deliberate. The day-90 score comes from your own answers. Paying cash out on a number you report yourself would put the person who benefits from a low score in charge of the instrument that decides it. Giving you another Cycle instead means there is nothing to game — a lower score just buys you more of something you already have.
What it does not promise
The Emotion Engine measures and prescribes. It doesn’t run your business. What you get out of a Check-Up or a Cycle depends on the work you do with it, and no income, audience or revenue outcome is promised anywhere on this site.
Where a product carries a guarantee, that guarantee is the entire remedy offered. It is a promise about continued work on the problem, not a promise about a business result.
Cancelling
The Cycle is recurring. You can cancel at any time from your account, and your access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for. We don’t pro-rate part of a period, and we don’t ask you to email anyone or sit through a retention pitch to do it.
The seven-day window applies to each renewal, not only your first payment. If a renewal catches you at the wrong moment, that is what it is there for.
Product by product
| Product | Refund window | Guarantee |
|---|---|---|
| The Mini Diagnostic | Free | — |
| The Full Check-Up | Seven days | — |
| Fandom Building — the Cycle | Seven days from each payment | The measured guarantee, above |
| The Deep Dive | Seven days | — |
| The Inner Circle | Set in the engagement letter | Per engagement letter |
Work sold to a company — team diagnostics, audits, workshops and speaking — is not covered by this page. Those terms live in the agreement for that engagement.
How to claim
Use the contact form at fandombuilder.com/contact and say which product and that you want a refund. Inside seven days it is processed, not negotiated.
The measured guarantee doesn’t need claiming. When both measurements are on file and your bottleneck gear hasn’t moved, the extra Cycle is granted — you should not have to ask for something you were promised.
Outside the seven-day window and outside the measured guarantee, the answer is no. We would rather say that plainly here than be vague about it now and awkward about it later.
Questions
Anything unclear, ask before you buy, not after: fandombuilder.com/contact. A guarantee you had to decode isn’t much of a guarantee.
